The Corporation will endeavour to keep up-to-date with changes in environmental legislation. We will make every reasonable effort to cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities.
Each Toromont location shall have an employee designated to be responsible for compliance with environmental requirements. The Corporation will ensure that its employees are adequately trained in these matters. Those in management are required to lead the environmental program, and to ensure that appropriate resources are made available.
Each Toromont location shall have a written manual, which outlines management of environmental matters. Routine reviews will be conducted to verify compliance with this Policy.
The Corporation will encourage all of its employees to share responsibility to identify conditions that are a risk to the environment and to work for the improvement of such conditions.
This Policy is to be posted at each Toromont location, and made available to all interested parties.
